Matthew Fox might wish he were back on Lost Island right about now.

The star was briefly detained by Cleveland cops after allegedly getting in a physical fight—with a woman.

Here's what we know.

Police say the Lost star was hanging out at a local bar on Saturday. As he left, he tried to board a party bus uninvited.

That's when the driver, Heather Bormann, told police she tried to block Fox from entering the vehicle. She says he was so steamed at being denied entry, he punched her in the breast and stomach.

According to the police report, the woman slugged Fox back, cutting his lip—and possibly breaking her hand in the skirmish.

An off-duty officer who happened to be on the scene cuffed Fox, and the actor was detained by police for questioning before being released without charge.

The bus driver filed an assault report—and tells the Cleveland Plain Dealer she plans to press charges—and the incident remains under investigation.

"He smelled like a liquor cabinet, like a bar," Bormann, a 29-year-old mother of three, told the newspaper. "I told him, 'Sorry, buddy, this is a private party. You have to get off my vehicle.' I told him three times. He never said a word. He just looked at me.

"By the time I got home, it was all tears," she said. "He really scared the crap out of me."

Fox, 45, listed as 6-foot-1, 200 pounds on the police report, is in town shooting the film I, Alex Cross.

There was no immediate comment from Fox's rep or the studio. However, a source close to the actor disputes Bormann's version of events.

And, in case you were wondering, because Fox has not been formally arrested or charged, his alleged Cleveland carousing was not immortalized in a mug shot.
