Day One of New York's Fashion Week is almost over, but there's still time to swipe and spend.
Celebrity style strutters and shopaholics are hitting the town to celebrate Fashion's Night Out. Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are getting the party started in NYC. The design duo hit up the JCPenney and People StyleWatch's Miss for a Must event, while Justin Bieber and Kim Kardashian are expected any minute at other stores around the city.

Olsen Twins' Advice to Rising-Star Little Sister

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are no strangers to being in the spotlight.
So who better to give little sis Elizabeth Olsen advice on handling her newfound fame than the child stars turned fashion designers themselves?
Elizabeth, 22, first captured Hollywood's attention at this year's Sundance Film Festival for her starring role as a young woman coming out of a cult in Martha Marcy May Marlene (in theaters Oct. 21). Earlier this year, she filmed Red Lights opposite Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver and she recently wrapped the Josh Radnor-directed Liberal Arts.
So how's Elizabeth (friends call her Lizzie) handling the stardom? And what words of wisdom did M.K. and Ashley pass along? We caught up with her during a recent quick trip to L.A....

At least, that's what you'd expect the headline to be after Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen touch down in Sin City for a bachelorette bash. The twinsies haven't been shy about their sometimes wildish ways in the past (M.-K. snogged Kanye West after all), but they seem to have forgotten to pack a dose of sin when they hit the Strip this time.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have come a long way since their tween clothing line for Walmart.
Since ditching the boho tops and bell bottoms for the younger fans that had followed the girls from their days on Full House, the twins have become bona fied fashion designers. They were even nominated for a CFDA Fashion Award (like the Oscars of fashion, darlings) for their chic, high-end line, The Row.
But now the sisters are movin' on up and expanding their empire to handbags. And we aren't talking bags you can find in a nationwide superstore that boasts "Always Low Prices!"
We're talkin' très expensive purses made of alligator, python, ostrich and lizard that will probably not only send PETA over the top, but set you back a pretty penny, too.

What is going on with our wholesome (yeah, right) child stars?!
After not-so-hot headlines for rehab visits (for M.K., at least) and other things T-town tarts get into when they've been in the biz too long, twinsies Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen seemed to have ditched the tabloid scene. Except for the occasional questionable outfit.
But boy, are these two making up for lost time now!
First, Ash was rumored to be canoodling with rebounding Justin Timberlake (though the two are apparently just "friendly," ha!) and now M.K. seems to have gotten a man of her own.
We'll give you a little hint: She won't be going on any double dates with Taylor Swift anytime soon...

Movie Review: Beastly Is All Beauty, No Beast

Review in a Hurry: What if they adapted Beauty and the Beast and forgot to make the beast ugly? That's the monstrous flaw in this leaden, Gossip Girl-ized version of the fairy tale, starring Alex Pettyfer as the tatted-up "beast" who falls for bland High School Musical beauty Vanessa Hudgens.

In the latest trailer for Beastly, a modern take on Beauty and the Beast, Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) seeming has it all. He's good-looking, charismatic and wealthy. Only thing is, that trifecta has also made him a serious douchebag.
Good thing Mary-Kate Olsen is there to humble him! Tired of his arrogant ways, she casts a spell on him that leaves him horribly disfigured and reveals he has a year to find someone to love him for who he is or he'll stay that way. Deadlines are always helpful.
His shot at redemption comes when mild-mannered Vanessa Hudgens gets close to him and starts to see who he really is. Could this be the love he's looking for? Well, he is building her a greenhouse. That's gotta count for something.

The SoHo loft where Heath Ledger was staying when he died has been for sale on the down low for a week. It can be yours for a cool $5 million.
Ledger, who tragically died in the lower Manhattan apartment in early 2008, had been crashing at the place, which at the time was rumored to have belonged to Mary-Kate Olsen. (It didn't.)
In any case, realtors have done their fighting best to rid the place of any residual grimness. So, what's it look like now?
