Jennifer Lopez is a world-traveling working mom, and she wants Max and Emme to join her on the road!

The 42-year-old singer and American Idol judge filed documents asking a judge to grant permission for both herself and ex Marc Anthony to take their 4-year-old twins outside of the state of California without having to get permission from the court or written consent from the other parent.

Lopez is seeking "a mutual release from the Automatic Temporary Restraining Order (which restrains removal of the minor children from the State of California) so that each of us may travel with our minor children outside of the state, if we so choose, at such times to be mutually agreed upon in the future."

J.Lo points out that she has an upcoming summer tour that will require her to leave the state, and Anthony, 43, has "an upcoming tour outside of the State of California as well."

According to court documents obtained by E! News, a hearing is set for June 26. Lopez's tour with Enrique Iglesias kicks off July 14 in Montreal.
