Five Things to Know About the Sundance Film Festival—Besides That It Starts Today!
It is never too early in the year to start talking about next year's Oscar race or the newest, hottest face on the planet.
We're smack in the middle of the best-of-2011 awards season, the 2012 Sundance Film Festival kicks off today (and runs till Jan. 29) in Park City, Utah, and there is so much going on both onscreen and off, we felt it necessary to prepare a cheat sheet for the indie-film extravaganza.
Here's what—and who—will be making noise in the next 10 days:

Are you commanding upwards of $10 million a movie? No? Then you probably weren't invited to Reese Witherspoon's wedding to Jim Toth over the weekend.
Luckily, plenty of attendees did fit that bill, and while it's no surprise that big stars have other big star friends, some of the guests at the Ojai reception didn't strike us as being the most obvious of besties with the southern belle.
So what was their connection? Let's break it down…

There are celebrities who talk ad nauseam about wanting their privacy (you know who you are). And then there are the celebrities who just shut up and do it, fuss-free.
Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher fall into the latter category. And we salute them for it.
After all, there was no press release, star-studded baby shower, increasingly frequent baby bump "candids" or magazine cover shots sold to herald their new arrival, just some random paparazzi snaps (that incidentally don't even show the stealth child, or reveal whether it's a boy or girl) of the family on a stroll in London.
So congrats, guys. Olive's gonna be a great big sister. To whatever it is you had.

Pictures of baby ballet classes are adorable enough as it is. Add celebrity kids and you might just have to pinch your computer monitor!
How cool is it that Katie Holmes, Nicole Richie and Isla Fisher all had their little ones in such a cultured activity this week? Suri, Harlow and Olive are tutu cute in their pink chiffon and tights. It's enough to make grandpa Lionel sing!
And apparently they're hitting their pliès, tendus and arabesques so hard that they're too tuckered out to walk on their own. It's cool, though—moms make great pas de deux partners.
They might be too young for Mary Murphy's hot tamale train, but we'll bet they have seats on the cute caboose.

Sacha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher Wed: High Five!

Good things come to those who wait.
By our count, Sacha Baron Cohen and Isla Fisher waited out their engagement for six years before finally tying the knot in Paris last week.
E! News has confirmed that the low-key couple swapped vows in a small, private Jewish ceremony in the City of Light on March 15, with their 2-year-old daughter, Olive, among the half-dozen on hand to witness the vow swap.
Though that may be because they were given "very little notice" prior to the big day in order to keep the ceremony as quiet as possible.
"We did it—we're married!" Isla reportedly boasted in an email sent to friends (who apparently saw fit to forward it to the tabloid) the next day, per Australia's Woman's Day. "It was the absolute best day of my life and in so many beautiful moments I missed you all so much."
