Yes, we will be treated to Robert "Iron Man" Downey Jr., Samuel L. "Nick Fury" Jackson, Chris "Captain America" Evans, Mark "The Hulk" Ruffalo, Chris "Thor" Hemsworth, Jeremy "Hawkeye" Renner, Scarlett "Black Widow" Johansson and Scarlett's mesmerizing assets, all in the same superhero movie.
Does that equate the biggest assembly of talent ever? What about the price tag? You'll be shocked to learn...

Avengers Cast Flocks to Comic-Con, With New Hulk!
After a long, crazy day at Comic-Con, weary fans got a surprise that made all the lines and bizarre incidents worth it: They met their Avengers!
At the tail end of the action-packed day (after a real-life blood bath over a seating dispute), Hall H patrons got their first looks at Chris Evans as Captain America and Chris Hemsworth as Thor, repping the two officially scheduled films on the Marvel Studios agenda.

Ever since franchises caught on in the '70s and '80s—Star Wars, Indiana Jones, The Terminator, Lethal Weapon—audiences have craved more installments from their favorite stars and characters. And, of course, bigger and better special effects.
E! has been there every step of the way, so as we celebrate our network's 20th birthday, let's take a look back at the best of the big movie franchises during our time on air.
Here are my 20 favorites, unranked except for the clear No. 1:
Terrence Howard: Robert Downey Jr. Owes Me for Iron Man
Terrence Howard wants the world to know he can't wait to see Iron Man 2—even if he's not in it.
The Oscar-nominated actor turned up with Jennifer Hudson for a cocktail reception at the Terrazza Martini tent along the Croisette at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival Sunday. They were in town to promote their upcoming biopic, Winnie, which chronicles the life of Nelson Mandela's controversial ex-wife and begins shooting May 31 in South Africa.
When he wasn't giving us a Method-inspired impression of the former South African president whom he's set to portray, the 41-year-old Howard took time out to talk about a matter that's been dogging him for the past two years now: being replaced by Don Cheadle for the Iron Man sequel.
"I haven't had a chance yet but I will see Iron Man 2," the thesp told E! News in his best Mandela voice.
Robin Hood Right on Target—Behind Iron Man 2
Robin Hood wasn't supposed to beat Iron Man 2. And it didn't.
The Russell Crowe-Ridley Scott bow-and-arrow epic opened in second place at the weekend box office with an estimated $37.1 million. Reigning champ Iron Man 2 returned to No. 1 with $53 million.
