Yep, Halle Berry's beau Olivier Martinez is officially her fiance!
The French actor, who was in Miami's South Beach for the opening of his restaurant Villa Azur Saturday, confirmed his engagement to the actress, telling Miami.com, "Yes, of course it's true!"
Indeed, Berry's rep also (finally) admitted to E! News that the Oscar winner was betrothed to Martinez.

Halle Berry's ex and baby daddy was in court yesterday to discuss his visitation rights, and E! News confirms that during the hearing, the judge also closed a pending child-endangerment case against him upon the recommendation of the Los Angeles County Department of Family and Children Services.
The DFCS was first called in to investigate after a former nanny accused Aubry of yelling at and shoving her while she was holding his and Berry's daughter, Nahla, who will be 4 on March 16.

Gabriel Aubry has one less thing to worry about.
Halle Berry's ex will not face charges in connection with his former nanny's allegations that he verbally abused her and, on Jan. 18, violently pushed her while she was holding his 2-year-old daughter, Nahla.
The staffer claimed her interactions with Aubry left her "psychologically traumatized."
So, how did authorities determine that they didn't have a case?

I know you seem to side with Katy Perry in her problems, but I'm with Russell Brand on the divorce. I think he made the right decision. I think his refusing to take any of her money speaks volumes. When I read on People's site that Katy signed her divorce papers with a smiley face, it just seems to me to be an indication of immaturity and insensitivity. It's a legal document that represents something sad, something breaking down and ending. Adding a smiley face is so inappropriate.

The question of whether or not Gabriel Aubry is going to be able to maintain his current custody arrangement with Halle Berry is up in the air yet again.
Both parents returned to family court Friday for a private, confidential hearing. Daughter Nahla was not present, but sources confirm to E! News that representatives from the L.A. County Department of Children and Family Services were sitting in.

Not long after the Los Angeles Police Department announced that the "psychotic" and "very violent" man convicted of stalking Madonna had escaped from a mental hospital, they were able to break the good news that he has been caught.

Well, this puts all those petty showbiz feuds into perspective.
Madonna today is dealing with a real and terrifying threat after the man who was convicted of stalking and threatening the pop superstar in the '90s—and who served 10 years in prison for those charges—escaped from a Los Angeles-area mental hospital and is currently being sought by police.
Making matters worse, this is the same man who's reportedly set his current sights on Halle Berry.
