Eva Longoria just can't seem to catch a break when it comes to the rumor mill.
The Desperate Housewives star shoots down yet another media report, this time denying she's been canoodling with Los Angeles Lakers baller Matt Barnes.

"First Jessica simpson, now this," Longoria wrote on her WhoSay account Sunday. "Once again, press gets it wrong, matt barnes and I are not dating! We are doing a charity event together for Padres and Athletes vs Cancer. . Why is the truth never the headline? why did I bother to comment when they put your statement at end of articles? #stillannoying."
Longoria's story smackdown came just hours after Page Six reported the starlet was spotted having a "flirty dinner" with Barnes, who recently split from girlfriend and Basketball Wives LA star Gloria Govan.

And just in case you're wondering what Longoria's Jessica Simpson reference is all about, just days ago she fired back when stories surfaced she had advised the mummy-to-be not to tie the knot on 11-11-11 because of her own superstition.
"Wow, some dumb magazine(InTouch) is reporting I told Jessica Simpson to cancel her wedding date because I'm superstitious! So not true!" Longoria tweeted. "My denial is at end of story but they ran it anyway. Makes no sense how they can lie to the public. #annoying."
