Bill Maher can't quite resist keeping a good feud going, especially when the object of his wisecracks is Elisabeth Hasselbeck.
During an appearance Tuesday night on The Late Show With David Letterman, the funnyman talked about the nasty spat he got into with the View cohost earlier that day when he turned up on the morning gabfest to plug his new book and Hasselbeck ambushed him about a joke he once made about her.
Needless to say, Maher had fond memories of the fireworks.

Attempted extortion all of a sudden doesn't sound so bad anymore.
David Letterman was the target of a death threat in a violently worded post that popped up on an extremist networking site frequented by al-Qaida, according to SITE Intelligence Group, a private company that trolls the web for possible terrorist activity.
The call to "cut the tongue of this lowly Jew and shut it forever" apparently came after Letterman—who, for the record, is not Jewish—cracked a joke on Late Show perceived as offensive to Islam.
