In Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony Custody Battle, Marc Wins the Beckhams

Jennifer Lopez may be locked in a heated battle with Marc Anthony over custody of their 3-year-old twins, Emme and Maximillian, but it looks like Anthony has already won the battle for Victoria and David Beckham.
J.Lo might be surprised to see that close friend, Victoria, and her soccer playin', underwear modelin' man were hanging out with her ex and his girlfriend, Venezuelan model Shannon De Lima, at the Beverly Hills Hotel last night where they attended the ASCAP Latin Music Awards.
The Beckhams were Anthony's guests at the VIP event, and supported their pal, Anthony, as he was honored with the ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) Founders Award.

Thank you, sunshine, for making Thursday nice enough for David Beckham's trip to the park.
The still-in-demand soccer stud and doting dad took 9-year-old son Romeo and 8-month-old daughter Harper to a Brentwood park for a little playtime.
Beckham brought the stroller, but Harper seemed to prefer the comfort of her pop's right arm while she enjoyed her juice bottle. (Who wouldn't, right?)

Yesterday was such a great day for the LGBT community, what with a Federal California court declaring Prop 8 unconstitutional, that we didn't want to ruin it with anti-gay biz courtesy of CNN commentator Roland Martin.
We've made up our minds about the sitch, but, we find this gay-baiting (and gay-bashing) to be particularly rich right in the middle of The Help and all of its civil-rights-minded glory doing so well at awards shows and at the box office. What about the civil rights of gays?

Welcome, Roland Martin, to the land of people in the public eye who have learned the hard way that what they write on Twitter has consequences.
Lucky for him, the CNN contributor and TV One host doesn't appear to be getting fired from any of his gigs, but that's exactly what the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation wanted after Martin tweeted a bad-on-multiple-levels joke in response to David Beckham's Super Bowl underwear commercial.
After an initial attempt to explain his crass comment, Martin offered up a lengthier statement late Monday:

GLAAD isn't so glad about Roland Martin's tweeting.
The gay-rights watchdog group has ripped the CNN contributor for what it deems a homophobic tweet he wrote about David Beckham's new undies ad for H&M.
Martin posted the tweet yesterday after the provocative spot aired on the Super Bowl.

For better or worse, most advertisers who are shelling out millions of dollars for 30 or 60 seconds of air time to showcase their products during America's biggest TV event of the year now release their spots ahead of time online. But though the advertising game has changed (boy, would those Men be Mad), the excitement has remained the same.
