CSI Sneak Peek: Get a Look at Marg Helgenberger's Last Episode!
So long, Catherine Willows. You will be missed.
And you aren't the only one choking up about Marg Helgenberger's final episode of CSI, airing tonight. Marg herself can't help but get misty-eyed thinking about saying goodbye to the role, but she does break into a smile while talking about possibly returning to her old stomping grounds...
CSI's Marg Helgenberger Gets Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
While criminals may mistakenly leave their fingerprints at the scene of the crime, CSI's Marg Helgenberger has purposefully left her mark at the hottest (and also rainy, in today's case) scene in Los Angeles.
Thanks to all those long, dedicated hours on the job, the two-time Emmy nominee received the 2,458th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame today.
Ex-CSI Star Gary Dourdan Cops Plea to Make Drug Case Disappear
Is Gary Dourdan actually leading a charmed life?
The trouble-prone former CSI star pleaded no contest to disturbing the peace today and was fined $100, the end result of him bumping into several parked cars on an L.A. street back in 2010, E! News has confirmed.
And though police allegedly found OxyContin in his car when they busted him, a judge dismissed a charge of felony drug possession as part of the deal.
How did Dourdan swing that?!
TV Update: X Factor Champ Melanie Amaro Signed to Epic Records
Happy 2012, you lovely TV watchers!
Since we've been off enjoying baked goods and awkward family interactions, some good TV news has gone down, and it's high time we catch up. Most notably, Melanie Amaro, season-one champion of The X Factor, has been signed to Epic Records following her big win. Plus, Ryan Murphy dropped a hint about American Horror Story's mysterious second season. And guess who's getting awfully cozy when The Vampire Diaries returns this week with an all-new episode?

CSI Newcomer Elisabeth Shue Spills on Joining the Show
Elisabeth Shue is ready to get to work.
As you may have heard, the Leaving Las Vegas Oscar nominee is succeeding Marg Helgenberger later this season on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Shue tells me she's been pitched—and turned down—many television projects in the past, but...
CSI Casts Elisabeth Shue to Succeed Marg Helgenberger
We'd heard that CSI was courting a "name" to fill Marg Helgenberger's very big shoes when she leaves the hit CBS drama later this season.
And now we know that name: Elisabeth Shue, she of Adventures in Babysitting and Karate Kid glory, (and oh yeah, that Oscar nomination for Leaving Las Vegas) has joined the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as a series regular. So when will she strap on her latex gloves and start solving crimes?
Ted Danson Makes His CSI Debut: So How Was It?
We're happy to watch Ted Danson be quirky any night of the week, Wednesdays at 10 p.m. included.
The Emmy winner made his CSI debut tonight as D.B. Russell, the new night boss over at the Vegas crime lab who, like Gil Grissom once upon a time, has more than a bit of method to his madness.
And, unlike everyone he works with, he's a happily married family man who takes phone calls from his wife while peering at dead bodies.
Former CSI Star William Petersen Welcomes Twins!
William Petersen's DNA is all over this one.
The former CSI star and his wife, Gina Cirone, are celebrating the arrival of twins—a boy and a girl—born via surrogate on July 5 in Los Angeles.
A rep for Petersen confirmed the big news to E! News, saying that while the pair were born prematurely and remain in the hospital, they're doing just fine.
Marg Helgenberger Leaving CSI After This Season—Is Ted Danson to Blame?
You work your butt off for a dozen seasons, and suddenly Ted Danson comes along and bam! Your character is demoted faster than you can say "DNA sample." Is that really the story we'll be getting coming into CSI season 12?
According to castmembers Ted Danson, George "Handsome Face" Eads and Marg Helgenberger…yes! But it's not the only story...
Ted Danson Joins CSI (But What About Bored to Death?!)
CSI's newest star isn't a lawyer, but he certainly passed the bar.
Ted Danson has joined the hit CBS series as the Las Vegas crime lab's new graveyard-shift supervisor (though, really, all the shifts are graveyard shifts), the network announced Tuesday.
But wait a second. Doesn't the two-time Emmy winner already have a job on a fantastic little HBO show called Bored to Death?
