It's Wednesday, and how better to propel us through the rest of the workweek than a double dose of cuteness? So come on down, Céline Dion's newborn twins!
Eddy and Nelson, the fraternal boys born to Dion and hubby René Angelil back in October, made their public debut this week by snagging not one but two magazines, appearing in People and on the cover of Eh Canada Hello! Canada.
Not bad for six weeks old.

Today all over the interweb is garbage about LeAnn Rimes crying because people are "mean" to her about Eddie Cibrian. Well boo friggin' hoo. She says she had to be "selfish" to be happy in her life. All well and good as long as all that's involved is three fairly crappy people, but there are kids involved, and I don't think anyone has a right to be selfish with someone who has kids. Huge difference between L.G. and E.C. compared to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and I don't give them a pass at all. What level of stardom gives you the right to crap on kids? Just curious.

Céline Dion Was Expecting Triplets, Lost One

Now that her new twins are finally home from the hospital, Céline Dion is currently experiencing a mother's elated joy.
But sadly, that wasn't always the case during her well-documented pregnancy.
The singer's rep confirms to E! News that Dion and hubby René Angelil were originally expecting triplets, but devastatingly lost one early on in the pregnancy.

Her tiny 5 pound twin boys were declared healthy enough to leave the hospital and head home with the singer after being kept in an incubator since their birth last weekend, her rep confirms to E! News.

Céline Dion is taking a pregnancy precaution.
The Grammy-winning singer has been admitted to St. Mary's Medical Center in West Palm Beach, Fla., to prevent the early delivery of her twins, according to a statement released by her rep.

Just in case Céline Dion didn't silence the rumormongers enough this week when her rep denied reports she had been hospitalized with pregnancy complications, the singer has put the final nail in the gossipy coffin by appearing, healthy baby bump and all, on the cover of Canada's 7 Jours magazine.
The 42-year-old is expecting twin boys this November with hubby René Angelil, who, along with son René-Charles and the family dog Charlie also posed for their closeup.

These are special times indeed for Celine Dion.
The Grammy-winning diva has revealed that she and her husband and manager René Angelil are doubling their pleasure, adding two more dudes to their ever-expanding brood.
"Celine and Rene Expecting Twin Boys!" proclaims a statement on CelineDion.com. "Congratulations to the happy family!"
Dion, 42, announced that twins were on the way back in May, but she didn't know the sex at that point.

The 42-year-old Grammy winner is expecting twins with hubby and manager René Angélil, E! News has confirmed.
The pending delivery is a dramatic turnaround for the Canadian songbird, who has long struggled to become pregnant again. In November, she and Angelil made the sad disclosure that she was no longer pregnant, just months after joyously announcing that they were expecting their second child.
