The summer of 2011 is going to go down in the books as one of the hottest ever, and one thing's for certain: It was a career scorcher for some of our favorite stars. So many had standout seasons, but only two could be named the king and queen. After the Final Four round voting, who earned the royal titles?

UPDATE: About that record summer… The box-office tracking company Exhibitor Relations tweeted Sunday that ticket revenue was actually down a bit from last summer. So, that would mean no record, but still a whole lot of money.

Maybe it's just because we've still got a certain celebrity wedding on the brain, but we can't help but think that this, above all others, might truly qualify as the summer of love.
There's no question the Hollywood hookups came in all shapes and sizes: from the downright bizarre (hey, Melissa George and Russell Simmons) to the fresh and young (hiya, Emma Roberts and Chord Overstreet) to the low-key hip (here's to you, Dianna Agron and Sebastian Stan) to the newly reconciled (here's to you, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel...and to a lesser extent, you, too, Jesse James and Kat Von D) to the truly eyebrow-raising (yeah, we mean you, Doug Hutchinson and Courtney Stodden).
