And while we thoroughly congratulate that guy, we wanted to take a moment to recognize the 10 individuals who made it the furthest in our tournament. Running the gamut of movies, music and TV, these celebs had truly great years and deserve their success.

Wow, you guys, it's incredible to realize we've reached the peak of our Celeb of the Year tournament.
This competition was not for the faint of heart. We started off with 99 of the year's biggest celebs and put the task of naming a champion in your hands. In the end, the final matchup was the most agonizing and also one of the closest: Who would walk away with the title? Would it be Robert Pattinson or would it be Kristen Stewart? The votes are in.

We lost a lot of talented people this year.
To focus our remembrances on just 10 people is, well, hard, but as we celebrate the lives and contributions of actors, writers, directors, musicians, behind-the-scenes folks and one or two "regular" people, we want to take a moment to also acknowledge that for each public loss there is a more potently felt private, personal loss felt by their loved ones and family.
In the end, though, this is a celebration of life. So, let's party!

From Miley Cyrus's Salvia video to Charlie Sheen's hotel meltdown, 2010 was an epic year in party history. Whether Paris Hilton thought a certain illegal substance was gum or squeaky-clean Zac Efron was hitting strip clubs, there were plenty of highs and lows on the soiree scene.
