Leonardo DiCaprio Takes Mystery Blonde on Australian Outing

Leonard DiCaprio Flynetpictures.com

Blake Lively was in New York City, so she's accounted for.

So, it was obviously some other willowy blonde strolling the grounds of the historic Vaucluse House in New South Wales, Australia, today with Leonardo DiCaprio, who's been staying in the area for the last few months shooting The Great Gatsby with Carey Mulligan and Tobey Maguire.

Oh, and it obviously wasn't Carey Mulligan, either.

Kate Gosselin Blue Wasp/Grey Wasp/Splash News

And here we thought Kate Gosselin's home life was a zoo.

The erstwhile reality star was minus her famous 8 when she touched down in Australia this week, turning up at Australia Zoo to participate in Steve Irwin Day, so deemed in honor of the zoo's beloved founder (wonder how many coupons she had to clip to pay for that ticket).

So what'd she get up to Down Under?

You don't have to tell Kim Kardashian that with great visibility comes a tidal wave of scrutiny.

"It's kind of what you get from living your life so publicly on a reality show," Kim admitted on Australia's Sunrise morning show, her first TV interview since announcing Monday that she was divorcing Kris Humphries after 72 days of marriage.

"I get that questions are going to be asked and the sctrutiny's going to come, and there'll be mixed emotions and so many rumors," she continued, sister Khloé Kardashian Odom at her side. "That comes along with the territory, but also, it teaches me I kind of want to step back a little bit."

But she also understands that she owes her fame to her fans—and that it isn't so bad being halfway around the world at a time like this.

Kim Kardashian is setting the record straight.

Faced with rumors that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a publicity stunt, the E! star has taken time out to address her fans directly, calling her latest blog post "the hardest thing I've ever had to write."

"I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it's hard not to see all the negative ones," wrote Kim, who landed in Australia today along with Khloé Kardashian Odom and Lamar Odom. "First and foremost, I married for love. I can't believe I even have to defend this."

But Kim knows that the millions of people who read about her whirlwind romance—and then watched her get married—want some answers.

This must've yielded quite the "oi, oi, oi," from an Aussie, Aussie, Aussie.

In the midst of filming her "Ultimate Australian Adventure" from the Sydney Opera House (which in her honor has been renamed—wait for it—the Oprah House) today, Oprah Winfrey went and broke one of her favorite things.

And that thing was Hugh Jackman.

Very G'Day, Mate: Paul Hogan Cleared of Tax Fraud

Paul Hogan AP Photo

The time to give thanks is now! Provided you're not an Australian icon who was just cleared of tax evasion. Otherwise, go ahead and save your gratitude for turkey day, as planned.

After a five-year investigation, erstwhile Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan is off the hook for bilking whoever the Aussie equivalent of Uncle Sam is, after the Australia Crime Commission concluded that it was neither in the public interest to continue their probe, nor was there strong enough evidence to secure a conviction.

Talk about your double whammys.

Oprah Avoids Cargate Replay, Pays Audience Taxes for Trip Down Under

Oprah Winfrey Jemal Countess/Getty Images

Get mercilessly mocked for a financially based oversight once, shame on you. Twice? Forget about it.

Which is why Oprah Winfrey took the lessons learned from Cargate—when each "lucky" member of her studio audience who received a Pontiac got the unexpected bonus of having to pay $7,000 in gift tax—and assured her Australia-bound fans that the trip will be absolutely, positively, 100 percent free of charge.

For them. But not for Oprah.

More from The Awful Truth

Dear Ted:
Do you think Nick Jonas and Miley Cyrus will ever get back together, or will she end up with Liam Hemsworth?
—Smteitel

Dear Forever After:
How many times do we have to tell you all that Nick and Miley are so not over? Especially when he is the inspiration for some of Miles' fab new songs. Way to take a play out of Justin Timberlake's book, doll! Liam's a fun and incredibly hot guy for now; he's probably got a few more months left in him.

Dear Ted:
After the comments about Toni Collette and, of course, Russell Crowe's not-too-secret history with the press, I am interested to know how you find the rest of the Aussie celebs in general? Who are your faves?
—Josie

Dear Stars on the Barby:
We're big fans of that hunky Ryan Kwanten from True Blood. And Hugh Jackman, of course. And Eric Bana. Hell, come to think of it, why can't more of Hollywood's heartthrobs come directly from the Outback?

Dear Ted:
Are the following couples lovey-dovey, or is there more to them? Posh and Becks, Nicole and Keith, Tom and Katie, Brad and Angie...and anyone else you feel free to dish on!
—Plpmoichis

Dear Appearances, Appearances:
You picked four pairs with some of the best-kept marital secrets in town! Well, not so much with one of them.

Dear Ted:
Rob Pattinson
has been spotted out again this weekend at the Soho House in West Hollywood, swarmed by women. You claim that he and Kristen Stewart are fine in their relationship, "as they define it." Is Rob a cheater?
—Casey
