If there's a bright side to this mishap, it's that Arnold Schwarzenegger still has total recall.

The erstwhile Terminator gashed his forehead during filming in Albuquerque, N.M., on The Last Stand, his first starring role since stepping down as California's governor.

At 64, is Ah-nuld showing his age?

Nah!

It was just another day at the office for Schwarzenegger, who broke the news himself, proudly showing off the war wound on Twitter.

"Got a little banged up on set today. Thanks to the medical staff who got me back in action an hour later!" he tweeted yesterday.

No word how he got the injury, but the production temporary halted so on-set medics could tend to the wound.

Schwarzenegger's graciousness also extended to the film's crew.

"Albuquerque is getting cold, so I bought some warm clothes for my crew today. Thanks to the employees who helped me!" the actor wrote.

Reps for Lionsgate, the studio releasing the action thriller, and Schwarzenegger's rep were unavailable for comment.

In The Last Stand, Schwarzenegger plays a small-town sheriff who must stop a drug kingpin from escaping across the border to Mexico. It's scheduled to hit theaters in 2013.
