Bachelor in Paradise has abruptly halted production in Mexico, E! News can exclusively report.

On Sunday, Warner Bros. released a statement, "We have become aware of allegations of misconduct on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico. We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action."

A source tells E! News that production has been suspended "indefinitely." Another source tells E! News that some contestants are already home and that they got home yesterday. The source also added that the situation is quite serious and that the production isn't just suspended, that it's totally done for this season and possibly forever.

Previously, the filming for Bachelor in Paradise season four, which announced its full cast earlier this week, had been in full swing. The ABC reality hit was slated to premiere on Tuesday, Aug. 8.

As for who was on set, several of the announced cast mates were spotted by fans at the airport in Puerta Vallarta, Mexico earlier today. In the Instagram photo, a number of members of Bachelor Nation appear to be on its way out of town, confirming many reports.

There are a number of rumors swirling about what exactly went down and who it went down with. Reality Steve has been tweeting up a storm about the shocking situation, claiming that the whole show is cancelled. "From I've been told, the show has been cancelled. They're done. Everyone's being sent home."

He also wrote, "DeMario [Jackson] & Corinne [Olympios] are the contestants in question. Details are still sketchy, but this is not a good situation."

And while the reality expert wouldn't elaborate, he said, "I'm not at liberty to throw accusations out. But yeah, drinking, sex, cameras, etc. You get the picture."

Many women from Nick Viall's most recent season of The Bachelor were announced earlier this week to be coming on to the reality show's fourth season, including Alexis Waters and runner-up Raven Gates.
