Ronda Rousey is returning to the ring for one of the last times.
The 27-year-old is slated to go up against Amanda Nunes in a Dec. 30 UFC fight—her first since her knockout loss to Holly Holm last year. "I've been training twice a day since August so I finally feel like super ninja good," she told Ellen DeGeneres in an interview.
However, the athlete encouraged fans to tune in because it will be one of the last. "I'm wrapping it up. This is definitely one of my last fights," she revealed. "Everyone better watch because the show isn't gonna be around forever."
While climbing trees and holiday scheduling may seem like the daunting elements of training for the upcoming fight, Rousey says its actually just the weeks of build-up to the highly anticipated main event.
"If we had a fight right now, I'd fight right now and then I'd go get dinner and I wouldn't feel really tired about it," she explained to DeGeneres. "It's like the weeks and weeks of build-up beforehand when you know you're fighting this one person and it's like your showdown, the most important thing in your whole life and then millions of people are watching. It's that build-up for weeks on end. If it just happened right now, I wouldn't be nervous at all. It's the waiting."
While we're all eagerly waiting to see who will emerge the winner, there's one person we don't think will be tuning in this year—presidential candidate Donald Trump. In fact, the Republican politician labeled the athlete "not a nice person."
"I think he said I was going to vote for him and it was news to me," she recalled. "I just said I'm not voting for a reality TV star to be the president. It's just all I said and so that makes me not a nice person."
So, she landed on the New York Times' list of insults Trump has issued since he announced his candidacy. "I'm going to frame it. I put my belts on like an ottoman, I put my feet on them, but that's going to be on the wall."
