Lauren Conrad just announced some big news...

While we were kind of hoping it was baby (better yet, puppy) news or perhaps a Hills relaunch, the fashion designer instead announced her 2016 Halloween costume: a DIY circus performer.

The 30-year-old had been giving her fans and followers some hints as to what her always highly-anticipated costume would be this year (with Instagram posts here and here) and finally unveiled the finished product Wednesday on her website.

Complete with a blush tulle skirt and glittered party hat, you might think the costume was a part of her LC by Lauren Conrad Kohl's collection, but nope! It's just her take on a clown ensemble.

From her Mini Mouse ears made of her own hair to Mary Poppins, Conrad has always been one of those creative celebs twenty-something women look to for inspiration in making their own Halloween costume.

In fact, this year alone, LC has offered several other ideas, including a homemade flapper costume and a DIY party animal makeup tutorial. So if you're in need of some spooky 'spiration, her website is the way to go.

But bringing it back to our original hopes of baby news, Conrad recently told E! News not to hold our breath.

While she gushed that married life is "great," she also admitted that she and husband William Tell aren't planning to add any little ones to their family just yet. At the moment, Conrad's main priority is her professional career. "I'm so busy right now. [My clothing collection] is my child. We'll get there eventually," she said.
