If you're on Dancing With the Stars and you're known for a role on a TV show, it's almost a sure thing that you will dance to said TV show's theme song. Marilu Henner and Taxi are no exception.
"When I heard I was doing Dancing With the Stars, I thought there's no way I'm not dancing to the theme song for Taxi," Henner said in the exclusive clip above. Henner and pro partner Derek Hough even broke out a classic taxi to get to rehearsals.
"This is a song that's very important to Marilu and not to mention it's one of the most iconic TV theme songs of all time," Hough said. "I want to do it justice."
Henner and Hough received a 27 out of a possible 40 points from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Julianne Hough, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli during their first week of performances. They danced the jive to Becky G's "Can't Stop Dancin'."
During the first week of performances, Laurie Hernandez and Val Chmerkovskiy tied for the top spot with James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess. Both couples received total scores of 31.
