Do we really need to say it? Of course not, but we're going to, anyway—that 'N Sync photo last night was everything we needed.

The fangirl in all of us came out for a surprise appearance yesterday when Justin Timberlake shared a picture of himself with former band members Chris Kirkpatrick, Joey Fatone and Lance Bass reuniting to celebrate JC Chasez's 40th birthday bash.

The nostalgia was real. The love for our boys was real. And the hope that this is just the beginning of something beautiful to come was extra real.

But, before we get ahead of ourselves, we decided to do some research on what our favorite five guys have been up to since saying "Bye, Bye, Bye" to their boy band days in 2007, and this is what we found out:

3: The number of kids between the group. Timberlake, as many of you know, is father to 1-year-old Silas, and Fatone is father to two daughters, Kloey and Briahna.

1: The number of previous reunions the guys gave fans, and we're of course talking about the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards where they surprised the crowd by performing a medley of their hits, including "Girlfriend," after busting into the middle of what had been JT medley. Some of the guys have gotten together more over the years, but this was the only reunion that really gave us some serious emotions.

5: The number of solo albums released from the members. JC released his 2004 record Schizophrenic (which included the unforgettable track "All Day Long I Dream About Sex"), while JT has released four studio albums over the years: Justified, FutureSex/LoveSounds, and both parts of The 20/20 Experience.

4: Weddings have occurred since the boys said goodbye to their 'N Sync days. Timberlake married Jessica Biel, Fatone married his longtime girlfriend Kelly Baldwin, Kirkpatrick married Karly Skladany and Lance wed his boyfriend Michael Turchin.

18: The number of times the guys have appeared on reality TV. Some of the singers really took off in the reality TV space. JT appeared on an episode of MTV's Punk'd, JC was on America's Best Dance Crew and I Love the '90s, Chris was also on Dancing With the Stars, Lance appeared on a variety of shows, including Vanderbump Rules, Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Kathy Griffin My Life on the D List, Dancing With the Stars, Cupcake Wars (as a guest judge) and, of course, his E! Wedding Special. But Joey takes the cake, appearing on Rewrapped (host), Family Feud (host), DWTS, Chopped (1 episode), My Family Recipe Rocks (host), Rachel vs. Guy (contestant), The Singing Bee (host) and Celebrity Circus (contestant).

28: The number of movie appearances by our boys. JT dominates on this one, appearing in the most films, including Bad Teacher, Friends With Benefits, In Time, Alpha Dog and The Social Network, just to name a few. Joey was in My Big, Fat Greek Wedding, Chris was in the boyband film Dead 7, JC was in a few films, including Ted Buckley and Killer Movie. And Lance was featured in Such Good People.

9: The number of Grammys won, and yes, they're all Justin Timberlake's.

100: The percent of chance that fans' hopes of another 'N Sync reunion went through the roof after last night's photo.

0: The number of strings attached, because duh.
