How do the stars tackle oppressive heat with low-key looks…and still look that stellar?
We tapped into two industry pros—hairstylist Marc Mena and makeup artist Joey Maalouf—for two easy-to–do, celeb-inspired looks you can actually wear all year long.
Let's start with the quintessential It Girl hairstyle—the top knot. Hailey Baldwin, Gigi Hadid and Kim Kardashian—we're looking at you.
Instead of your typical twist-and-go bun, our hair pro shared his special technique for extra volume: Take sections from a ponytail and create loops, pinning them to the top of head. Wrap the last piece of hair around these loops to give you the illusion of a mega-watt top knot.
For makeup, less is more. Instead of piling on the foundation and concealer, dot on only what you need and let your eyes do the talking. Our makeup pro is all the about the red liner—and even better, application doesn't have to be perfect. Just smudge out the line and add mascara for good measure. Finish it off with cream blush and a pink gloss and you're Rose Byrne-ready!
