It's easy for the women of The Real Housewives of New York City to talk about Bethenny Frankel being top dog, the master of the series. However, this whole season there's been somebody else operating in the background, mixing things up: Dorinda Medley.

Dorinda's been a sponge, listening and absorbing bites from the various cliques of women she moves easily between. But she's not retaining that information; instead she's been spilling it out the first chance she gets. These shows need somebody like Dorinda, she keeps the drama moving forward. She recently did it with Ramona Singer and Luann de Lesseps when she relayed talk about "the Countess" returning, but the jig may be up. In a preview for the next Real Housewives of New York City, Bethenny and Carole Radziwill are well aware of the game afoot.

At a group dinner, Jules Wainstein exploded at Bethenny with a series of charges, ranging from Bethenny's humor is mean-spirited and she didn't inquire about Jules' hurt vagina to Bethenny spread rumors about Jules' marriage. Carole was limped in there too. Following the dinner, the ladies all assembled for a bus ride to a casino and the tension was palpable. Bethenny ignored Jules.

"I even said to Jules, ‘Honestly, I'm confused because I didn't understand where all that was coming from,'" Carole told Bethenny after the bus ride. "She said, ‘Well, it was building up, building up.' I was like, ‘OK.' And then she said something about Dorinda.I said I asked Dorinda and she said she didn't understand where it came from either. Then Jules kind of looked at me like, ‘Really?' Dorinda I think—

"Stirred the pot," Bethenny said. "So she got away clean."

"Dorinda's a little s--t-stirrer," Carole concluded.

At the dinner, Bethenny said she was keeping Jules at a distance because of her own past dealing with her mother's eating disorder.

"I confided in Bethenny. She knows my history and she's treating me like a sick patient," Jules said. "I'm confused, like, what's wrong with this person."
