Pokémon Go screenshots are the latest thing to take over the Internet. We're not going to lie; we're about to get in on this game solely because of these hilarious photos. Users have been snapping pictures of their Pokémon appearing in painfully awkward (not to mention occasionally dangerous) places like cliffs, crotches and more. Of course, catching your Pokémon on the toilet while you're playing the game on the pot does make for a pretty perfect Instagram. We can't make this stuff up.
If you haven't discovered the games glory just yet, it's pretty fun to play. It's available on iPhone and Android so you can pretty much play whenever and wherever. Your phone will vibrate anytime a Pokémon is near. Use your smartphone to throw a Poké Ball to try and snag it. The game moves you to explore the outdoors and find Pokémon in real-life settings. If you find a Pokémon and want to take a pic (and you will if they're anything like the ones below), the camera will place the little guy in your actual surroundings. SO COOL. Basically, it looks like they're hanging out all around you. Bonus Jonas: there are tons of PokéStops that encourage you to visit landmarks, art and other real-life monuments to collect Poké Balls.
The game has resulted in some pretty hilarious memes as well, showing Pokémon appearing during sexy time and even outside of airplanes. Perhaps the phrase 'gotta catch 'em all' should not be taken literally in these cases. Behold the amazing awkwardness below that is Pokémon Go.
