Tyler ShieldsColton Haynes is taking shirtless photos to the next level.
The Arrow star shared photos on his Instagram of his newest photo shoot, shot by photographer Tyler Shields, and they are steamy. In one photo, Haynes is shirtless and posing seductively while staring directly into the camera lens. The black-and-white photo shoot will leave you wanting so much more, and thankfully, there are a couple of more pictures for you to feast your eyes on.
In another black-and-white image, Haynes, who has dyed his hair blond, wears a metal choker with a key ring. Another person's finger and arm appears in the photo, seemingly tugging on Haynes' collar. "Every single time we work together we push boundaries & make incredible art," Haynes captioned the picture. "Our photography book is gonna be pretty shocking to say the least..."
If this is any indication of what's to come, then "shocking" is certainly the right word to describe the pictures. Shields talked to E! News about his latest photo shoot with the Teen Wolf alum and their forthcoming collaboration and told us that the photo shoot stemmed from wanting to show the "new Colton."
"It's amazing to see him since he came out, how free he is now," he told us. "Of course it happened on his own time, but I am so happy for him he's free now."
The book will mainly feature Haynes in solo pictures, but Shields also shared that some other people could be featured with the actor. As for why Haynes described the photos as "shocking," Shields said it all came down to breaking barriers. "There are few people who understand what I do as much as him, so we have quietly been shooting a book of just him for a little while now," Shields said.
"We want it to be a full collection of him, some with other people, some of just him. But Kate Moss has a pretty incredible book shot by Mario Testino, and I love that concept: one person, one book, one collection. And as Madonna did with her sex book I think we will be pushing some boundaries on this one."
Shields met Haynes in 2009 and has been working with the TV star on and off since then. Their working chemistry, Shields explained, is undeniable. "If you were to watch a shoot we don't even have to speak to communicate," he says. "It's very easy for us to work together."
Shields didn't say when the book would be released, but he did tease that he would be working on it for another year. "[I would like] to give people something that will really blow their minds!" Shields said.
