Learn from Kelly Ripa, kids: Think before you ink!
The 45-year-old Live! With Kelly host is the first to admit that getting a flower tattooed on her left ankle wasn't the wisest life decision. But as the Daily Mail first noted, Kelly's admittedly questionable ink is disappearing (thanks to laser removal, most likely).
"Its story is no story, I guess," Kelly told the Los Angeles Times back in 2001. "It's a symbol of my youthful stupidity. I was 19 and in San Antonio for my first personal appearance for All My Children. I had two hours to kill and the limo driver said, 'Why don't you get a tattoo?' I did it. The flower? I told the guy to do whatever he had. That was it."
The ankle tattoo isn't the only one the mother of three regrets. In a 2013 interview with Elle magazine, she copped to having something similar to a "tramp stamp" on her lower back. Kelly explained she'd "rather not say" what this this particular tattoo represents, but she did reveal she got it on her wedding night.
Kelly's not totally anti-tattoo, though. In 2010, she got "Consuelos" (as in her hubby Mark Consuelos' last name) tattooed on the inside of her wrist. That inking represents the real deal, too. Earlier this month Kelly and Mark celebrated their 20-year wedding anniversary.
"The Roaring 20!" she captioned an Instagram photo of the couple. "I love you @instasuelos #cheerstotwentyyears"
