Amber Riley has something on her mind and she wants you to hear it.
Hours after undergoing surgery at the dentist office, the former Glee star decided to share a powerful message on body image to her fans through Instagram.
"You know, there are just some things that my sober mind keeps me from sharing. That ends tonight," she explained in an emotional video. " I've got some things I need to get off my chest."
"Why does me being fat offend so many people? Is it because I'm confident and I'm fly and I'm sexy?" the actress continued. "Do my thighs offend? Does my stomach offend? Does my big juicy ass offend? Why?! Why?!"
Before you answer any of these questions, Amber shared with her followers that she feels confident with her figure today. And no matter what names you use to describe her, the actress and singer is in love with her body.
"Let my big ass live. I let you all live. I love all colors, shapes and sizes," she shared. "So, just so you know, when you come on here and you call me fat, it's not an insult dummy."
Amber added, "My ass is fat and the fellas love it and so do I."
The message struck a chord with many of her fans including her former Glee star Naya Rivera who shared the video on Twitter with the message, "Get it giiiirrrrlll."
As for Amber's mindset today, she's chosen to be a little less vocal. But it's not because she regrets any of her empowering words Friday night.
"I'm baaaaack lol afternoon everyone! What an adventure we went on last night," she joked on Twitter. "I'm silent Susie today. My mouth is so sore…soooo I'm gonna be quiet. But because I want to, not because I'm scared on anything. I'm gonna go enjoy this shake! I hope you guys have an awesome day.
