For Lena Dunham, the best is yet to come.
In fact, after talking to E! News last night at the 20th Annual Webby Awards in New York City, the Girls star admitted that her recent birthday hasn't caused any panic just yet. "I can tell you that I'm feeling really good at 30," she said. "I woke up with a real sense of relief that all that was done."
Dunham's good friend Taylor Swift also took the opportunity this past weekend to celebrate her friend's big birthday milestone with a collage of photos on her Instagram. "One of my favorite people in the world turns 30 today and I can't help but think about how different my life would've been without our long talks, arts and crafts projects, and running-into-each-others'-arms-hugs," she captioned. "Thanks for being you, Lena. Everyone who knows you is better because of it. HAPPY BIRTHDAY@lenadunham."
When asked if she ever received any gifts from her famously crafty friend in real life, Dunham said, "I actually have a real life needle point she did and I have a real life button collage she did. She's a real crafty dame, on and off the Internet, so I'm very lucky to be blessed with that in my life."
Dunham has accomplished a lot in her three decades of living. In addition to beginning production on the sixth season of Girls, running her feminist newsletter Lenny Letter, and dating musician Jack Antonoff, Dunham announced Tuesday via her Instagram account that she has released a new book. Titled Is It Evil Not to Be Sure?, she called it as "an essay on diary keeping and excerpts from my most absurd and secret 19-year-old journal."
By all accounts, Dunham is loving her entry into the next decade. "I already love being 30," she wrote.
