Russell Wilson is coming back for more!

After impressing fans of all ages with his hosting duties, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback is set to host the Kids' Choice Sports Awards for the second year in a row. The news was announced Wednesday via his Instagram account.

Just last year, Russell couldn't help but express his excitement at the opportunity. "I'm pumped! It's something new for me obviously but I'm really excited about it," he shared with E! News while giving praise to former host Michael Strahan. "It's such an honor."

As kids—and plenty of adults too—prepare for the Nickelodeon awards show, we're giving you five reasons why we're so happy to have the NFL star back as host. Break a leg Russell, figuratively of course.

1. He Tends to Bring Really Good Plus Ones: Just last year, Russell walked the carpet with his talented girlfriend Ciara. And when asked about his leading lady before the show, the athlete couldn't help but gush. "I have a good date," he explained to E! News. "She's a 15 out of 10 as I always say."

2. Surprise! He's an Athletic Stud: Because this is the Kids' Choice Sports Awards, we have to applaud Nickelodeon for choosing someone who lives and breathes sports. Yes, we know him as the quarterback who brought the Seattle Seahawks to the Super Bowl. But he also can hold his own on the baseball field. After all, he was once invited to spring training with the Texas Rangers. Not too shabby.

3. He Loves Kids: While he doesn't have any children of his own, Russell has been known to treat Ciara's son Future very well. Whether enjoying family days at Disneyland or at Dodger stadium in Los Angeles, the athlete has absolutely welcomed the adorable kid with open arms. He also tries his best to visit Seattle Children's Hospital to inspire young patients.

4. He Knows How to Deliver a Speech: While we're sure some athletes will drop some serious wisdom when they accept an award, we can't help but hope that Russell will have a few special words of his own to share. After all, who can forget his emotional, moving and even funny commencement speech last weekend at University of Wisconsin?

5. He Certainly Can Bust a Move: Perhaps one of our favorite moments from last year's show was when Russell showed off his dancing skills to the delight of screaming kids. After the DJ turned up Silentó's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae), Russell couldn't help but demonstrate every move perfectly. As an added bonus, his girlfriend turned fiancé Ciara came up on stage to do the dance with him. Relationship goals? Absolutely yes.
