Karl LagerfeldKendall Jenner may be strutting the runways, but there was a time when she thought her life would involve more of a gallop.
"I've always loved animals," she said in the June/July issue of Harper's Bazaar. "I rode horses for 10 and a half years, so I thought I was going to be a professional horseback rider and then a vet."
In fact, before she was posing for Karl Lagerfeld, the 20-year-old was so interested in the future profession, she practiced in her spare time.
"I used to play these vet video games," she revealed.
In addition to the surprisingly normal aspiration, the Estée Lauder spokeswoman says her upbringing as a part of the famous reality show family wasn't as strange as some would expect thanks to her mom and dad.
"I feel like a lot of people say that kids who grow up in that kind of world go crazy. But it has everything to do with how your parents raise you," she admitted. "I was raised so normally, or as normally as I could have been."
In fact, much like any other kid, Jenner knew which parent she could get her way with.
"My mom was the pushover, and my dad was the strict one," Jenner revealed.
While she's blossomed into one of the most in-demand supermodels in the fashion industry, the brunette beauty still lives an unexpectedly tame life.
"I fall asleep at 6 P.M. with the jet lag. I hang out with my friends, get food, and drive my car," she described. "It's the little things I miss the most. Like I love being stuck in L.A. traffic. I miss it!"
To further prove the point that Jenner is just a normal gal, she's also a Belieber. When she's not busy walking the 2016 Met Gala red carpet in custom Versace, she steals away to one of his shows.
"I went to Justin Bieber's concert the other night," she admitted with a laugh. "Of course I have the fever! He's a really good friend of the family's, so we all went to support him. Kanye [West] went two nights in a row. He's a huge fan—I was shocked."
