All eyes were on Kendall Jenner when she stepped out onto the 2016 Met Gala red carpet—and for good reason.
The supermodel stunned among the crowd in a custom Versace gown hand-selected by Donatella Versace herself. The result? A modern and unique blue, gold and white floor-length gown covered in eye-catching sparkle material with demure cutouts at the waist.
"I'm excited to be wearing it," she told E!'s Zanna Roberts Rassi of the creation. "Donatella asked me to go with her [and] wear her stuff and I obviously said yes."
However, Jenner suddenly fell indecisive when it came to picking between her top two options.
"She sent me sketches. I picked my favorites," she explained. "I couldn't pick between two, so I said, 'You pick!'"
If there is anyone to trust with making the final decision on your Met Gala gown, it's the renowned fashion designer.

As for Jenner's sleek beauty look, she opted for glowing bronze skin and a neutral eye designed by the makeup artists of Estée Lauder, the brand for which she is currently a spokesmodel. While getting ready with the fellow faces of the makeup brand, Liu Wen and Joan Smalls, the 20-year-old personified the look of understated glamour.
"I don't really like to wear too, too much makeup," Jenner admitted. "I love a good wing and a good kind of natural looking—I love glowy."
If there's anything she loves as much as a good wing, it's social media. With 17 million Twitter followers alone, the gala's theme of wearable technology this years seems to be as much of a perfect fit for Jenner as her killer dress.
"I think it's so cool," she said. "Tech is so of the moment...Instagram is huge. Apple is huge. All of these things are huge."
Just add Jenner's Met Gala look to the list as another huge fashion moment. Well done, Kendall and co.
