Dancing with the Stars Has First Double Elimination After First Perfect Scores

Who went home?

Oof.

Tonight, Dancing with the Stars hit that point in the season where we were no longer OK with saying goodbye to any of the contestants. We had grown very attached to everyone who remained on that dance floor, and from now on, it's only heartbreak, and it started with a double elimination.

We had to bid farewell to both Kim Fields and Von Miller tonight, even after Kim scored three nines for her epic, partly black-lit performance. Von took on Elvis, and he totally rocked it, and we're truly sad to see either of them go (though we would have been even more sad to see Wanya Morris, who was also in jeopardy, head home).

Despite that heartbreak, there is some celebrating to do tonight thanks to the season's first perfect scores! Paige VanZant and Ginger Zee solidified their place at the front of the pack with 10s from all three judges and standing ovations from the audience.

Now, let's see how everybody else did!

10. Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess: 24/30

While we're very into the whole creepy druid vibe, Antonio and Sharna seemed kind of overwhelmed by the concept, the crazy staging, and the song rendition. It was a lot.

9. Von Miller and Witney Carson: 24/30

We guess were distracted from the actual dancing by the impeccable Elvis-ing, which we guess is not great, but we still had a great time.

ABC

8. Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd: 29/30

Good, as usual, but something about this was just snoozy. Pretty sure Nyle has proven he can handle this, so it's time for some more creative choreography.

ABC

7. Jodie Sweetin and Keo Motsepe: 26/30

Great, but not really all that memorable? And is it just us or do the judges have something against Keo? They seem to critique him more than they critique the contestants and it's getting old.

ABC

6. Team Beyonce: 25/30

This was a disappointment, actually. We had such high hopes, and then it felt like a whole lot of Beyonce posing and not enough actual dancing. What if they had given the guys Beyonce and the girls James Brown? Can you imagine how much more interesting that could have been?

5. Kim Fields and Sasha Farber: 27/30

So much fun! Kim is too cute and we will so miss her cuteness from here on out.

ABC

4. Wanya Morris and Lindsay Arnold: 27/30

The judges said it was safe, but we thought it was adorable. Not on the same level as their usual performances, but still great.

ABC

3. Team James Brown: 28/30

Everybody just looked like they were having an incredible, flawless time, and we wanted to join them.

ABC

2. Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy: 30/30

Has Ginger been the sneaky secret frontrunner this whole time? She hit the first perfect score of the season with yet another beautiful, flowy routine. Here's our one thing: everything she does is beautiful and sunny, even when she's trying to be Janet Jackson. We would love to see her do something harder, uglier, more contemporary, just to see if she can.

ABC

1. Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas: 30/30

Paige!! Yesss! She's a natural at this and if she goes home before the final three (or even two), we will start a dance riot.
