The Veep star and her husband Shaun So are expecting their second child later this year, her rep confirms to E! News.
The Hollywood couple is already proud parents to two-year-old daughter Penelope who has already brightened up their lives in more ways than one.
"It's awesome. I love it," Anna recently gushed to People about life as a mom. "She's becoming her own person and it's delicious to watch."
The actress continued, "She's really fun and really sweet. And she's very determined. I love all those things about her. If she wasn't my daughter, I'd want to hang out with her still. She's really good company."
While Anna has found great success in Hollywood thanks to her roles in Veep, Hannibal and other projects, there is some doubt about whether she wants her kids to follow in her footsteps.
"I mean, in the sense that I have a ridiculous and irrational sense of responsibility for others, giving her advice would make me nervous even if I were a skier. Or a lawyer. In that I don't want to be responsible for her experience," she told The Guardian. "My advice to her would be: Stick to school plays."
As she waits to welcome baby No 2., Anna will continue to enjoy life on the set of Veep that is returning to HBO later this month.
"I work with some of the most talented people and some of the smartest people in show business right now," she gushed during a Facebook Q&A with Travel + Leisure.
