He's super freakay!

Jason Derulo is nearly unrecognizable in a preview for this Thursday's Lip Sync Battle on Spike, where the singer channeled a full-out '80s performance of Rick James' 1981 hit "Superfreak." The "Talk Dirty" crooner donned dreads and showed some skin in an open-chest black studded leather jumpsuit in true Rick James fashion. His performance payed homage to the song's music video, even mimicking James' iconic park bench routine alongside a line of sexy dancers.

If you didn't already know the hip hop singer and dancer could bust a move, the 26 year-old's take on "Superfreak" shows he can really get down. The performance was so electric that even Lip Sync Battle commentator Chrissy Teigen couldn't help but sing along and get in on the fun.

Although Derulo's act will be a hard one to follow, he does have some tough competition in Thursday's episode against former American Idol contestant and Smash star Katharine McPhee.

Derulo isn't the first star to throw it back to the '80s on the singing competition, but he definitely went for it with the hilarious costume and classic "Superfreak" moves.

Aside from his masterful impersonation of James, Derulo is an especially busy guy. Last night he showed off his many talents as host, performer and nominee at the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards, which took place at The Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

It was definitely a crazy night for Derulo, who in addition to being nominated for the "Biggest Triple Threat" award alongside stars like Justin Timberlake and Lady Gaga, also brought down the house with a performance of his latest single, "If It Ain't Live." Although he went home empty handed, Derulo provided lots of laughs throughout the night, further asserting himself as a true triple threat.

Derulo's full episode of Lip Sync Battle airs this Thursday at 10 p.m. on Spike.
