Oh, Google. You silly Sally, you. April Fools' day is already one of the most terrifying holiday's out there. As if it's not nerve-wracking enough to live in constant fear of getting pranked for an entire day, Google went ahead and accidentally ruined a few lives. Maybe it wasn't that dramatic but still, their prank didn't exactly go as planned. Gmail users had the option of adding a GIF of a Minion dropping the mic (as the kids say) to their email before they hit send. From the looks of Twitter, some people didn't notice that they had included the playful addition to their message and accidentally sent it in emails that majorly did not call for said sass.

Since discovering their mess-up, Google put an end to the prank and released an apology on their Gmail blog. The company said, "Well, it looks like we pranked ourselves this year. Due to a bug, the Mic Drop feature inadvertently caused more headaches than laughs. We're truly sorry. The feature has been turned off. If you are still seeing it, please reload your Gmail page." Ouch. We've included some painful tweets from people who were affected by the prank, and they are beyond cringe-worthy. Be glad your day isn't going as poorly as these BB's.

The only AOL user on the planet finally has the last laugh.

Woof. Let's hope the potential employer has a sense of humor?

This one is unbelievably cringe-worthy. In a message regarding a funeral, the Minion GIF was accidentally sent along with the email. Ugh. We feel for this person so hard right now.

Yeah, couldn't have said it better ourselves. Good luck today, people.
