You'd think the awful possibility of dying of cancer would be enough for Farrah Fawcett to contend with, but no, now she has to think about her troubled son Redmond possibly selling off her belongings.

First, just to recap: Fawcett's cancer returned last spring, and she's been receiving aggressive and experimental chemotherapy treatments in Germany, where she's heading yet again for more debilitating sessions. But this time, the normally upbeat former Charlie's Angels star is "really very worried," say some of her closet friends. "She's just not well."

Worst, still, would be what her drug-addict son's putting her through:

"She's tried to make [Redmond] keep a job," adds a superclose Fawcett crony regarding Farah's only child with ex Ryan O'Neal. "But nothing sticks. He just wants to get high."

Guess dad does, too, as the world witnessed when the infamous father-son duo got nailed for possession. And since Farrah's buds say Ryan's simply no help in forcing Redmond take care of himself, Farrah's concerned Redmond will go after her property: mainly, her extensive and very valuable photograph and memorabilia collection.

"She's kept everything from her career, very painstakingly," reveals a Fawcett amigo. "And she's terrified Redmond's going to sell it all off for drugs after she's gone. Terrified."

Jeez, think I'd be more freaked my son was going to overdose than sell my booby posters, but then, hey, I don't know what it's like to have a kid, so I'm staying outta this.

Other than to tell Redmond I think this is a really crappy thing to do, giving your deathly ill mom more grief to sweat over. You O'Neal folks really know how to keep topping the others in the skankyass behavior biz, don't you?
