It may have been several decades since the era of TGIF, Lunchables and Clueless, but its spirit is very much alive. Especially when you look at the fashion of today's A-listers, like Kendall Jenner and Gwen Stefani. One major source of inspiration in particular is the beloved show Clarissa Explains It All, which just happens to be turning 25 this week.
In honor of the sitcom's anniversary, we decided to take a look back at our heroine Clarissa Darling and her signature looks, from chokers to off-the-shoulder tops and wackier-than-wacky prints. And a word of warning: Don't be surprised if her outfits look a little too familiar.
That's because all of our favorite celebs are copying her looks so closely that it made us do a straight-up double take. We're not surprised that the show has had a lasting legacy, of course, since countless '90s girls loved Clarissa more than they loved Gushers. But rather, we're getting a huge kick out of the fact that Clarissa Darling has twins all over Hollywood.
