Kate Hudson is the first to admit that she gets bored very easily.
While some people like order and structure, the A-list actress once confessed that "change is my constant."
But while supporting her new book Pretty Happy at The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles Monday night, the blond beauty revealed one practice she does everyday that has changed her life for the better.
"You know this is the first time I'd say a year in a half of my life that I actually meditated everyday," she shared before signing copies of her bestseller. "I made it a real clear decision to do that and to see the benefits. The results are amazing."
She continued, "And anybody who's ever really started a mindfulness practice recognizes when it starts to become a part of your routine and practice that it's really amazing."
While mediation has proven to be a priceless practice for Kate, the actress admits that working out has also provided more results than just a stunning figure. When asked about her favorite workouts, the 36-year-old said it all depends on what's happening in her life.
"If I'm super depressed because I've just had a breakup, I probably don't want to workout, you know? I also really don't want to probably mediate because my brain's like nuts," she explained. "So then I'll probably call a friend and they'll be like, ‘Let's go to Soul Cycle' and I'll be like [relief]."
Before you think the Hollywood star is perfect when it comes to health and fitness, Kate is the first to admit she loves to splurge every once in a while.
In fact, you may just see her whooping it up when she goes on a trip with her gal pals.
"I'm going to go to workout and I'm going to enjoy it and I'm going to eat really healthy, But I'm going to go to Vegas and I'm going to stop at In-N-Out Burger and then I'll be back on track," she joked. "So I wanted you to know that."
Pretty Happy is available in stores now.
