Dexter's having a killer week.

After wrapping its third season with big ratings, the Showtime serial-killer drama today picked up two Screen Actors Guild nominations, including one for star Michael C. Hall.

30 Rock, Mad Men, The Closer, the recently departed Boston Legal and the miniseries John Adams each picked up a TV-best three nods.

For the first time, Dexter's up for Outstanding Drama Series Ensemble—SAG's version of Emmy's Outstanding Drama Series. Its competition: Boston Legal, The Closer, House and Mad Men.

30 Rock, Entourage, The Office, Weeds and, in a bit of a throwback, Desperate Housewives are up for Comedy Series Ensemble.

If you were expecting an award show without Tina Fey, you were expecting wrong.

In addition to the 30 Rock ensemble nod, Fey was nominated as top actress in a comedy series.

As at the Golden Globes, Fey will face off against Christina Applegate (Samantha Who?), America Ferrera (Ugly Betty) and Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds). Unlike at the Globes, she'll also go up against Tracey Ullman, who earned a nod for her new Showtime series, Tracey Ullman's State of the Union.

Hall's competition for drama series lead actor is likewise Globes-like: Mad Men's Jon Hamm, House's Hugh Laurie and Boston Legal's James Spader and William Shatner. (All but the Boston Legal men are up for the corresponding Globe.)

Other Globe nominees who added on SAG nominations today include The Office's Steve Carell, 30 Rock's Alec Baldwin, Monk's Tony Shalhoub, 24's Kiefer Sutherland (nominated for the prequel movie, not the series) and The Closer's Kyra Sedgwick.

Stars whose Globe nominations didn't carry over to the SAGs include The Starter Wife's Debra Messing, Entourage's Kevin Connolly, Mad Men's January Jones, True Blood's Anna Paquin and How I Met Your Mother's Neil Patrick Harris.

While Jones was denied, Elisabeth Moss, the Mad Men career girl to her costar's suburban housewife, picked up her first major individual TV nomination in the lead drama series actress category.

Winners of the 15th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards are to be announced Jan. 25, giving Entourage nominee Jeremy Piven five weeks-plus to dial down his mercury count.
