Congratulations to Kara Keough and Kyle Bosworth on the birth of their baby girl!
The former Real Housewives of Orange Country star gave birth to daughter Decker Kate Bosworth Thursday night at 7:26 p.m, E! News exclusively confirms. And even though little Decker was two weeks early, she weighed in at a healthy 8 pounds and was 19.5 inches long!
"Decker Kate Bosworth was born with a full head of brown hair and pretty blue eyes," her proud mom told E! News exclusively. "Daddy Kyle Bosworth cut the umbilical cord and grandma Jeana Keough got on a flight the second I was being admitted, she arrived in Florida about 5 hours after Decker's birth."
Fortunately, Kara told E! News she had a "quick and easy delivery after an amazing pregnancy."
"I'm so lucky," she said. "No morning sickness, no pregnancy waddle and I wore heels to the hospital—I thought I was just coming in for my weekly check up and apparently Decker had other plans..."
Kara added that baby Decker "is just like her mama—fashionably early and a big eater."
As for baby Decker's name? Well, that comes from mom and dad's side of the family, too! As Kara told E! News this past November at her baby shower, "No, it's not a nod to the actress Kate Bosworth...Both Kyle and my maternal grandmothers are named Kathleen and Katherine—so it's a way to honor both of them."
Very sweet. Congratulations, again to Kara and Kyle on their adorable new addition!
