Eva Longoria Says Her Fiancé Jose Antonio Baston Is Not at All Desperate to See Her Desperate Housewives Antics

Actress opens up to Ellen DeGeneres about her adorably oblivious fiance

Say what? Eva Longoria's fiancé, Jose Antonio Baston, may be the president of one of Mexico's largest media companies, Grupo Televisa, but that doesn't mean the handsome exec has seen every show on television, including Desperate Housewives, the show that made his lovely lady an internationally known star.

Eva sat down with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Friday and spilled some surprising details on her fiancé's lack of Housewives knowledge.

"It was so funny he had never seen the show. Like, the only person in the world who hasn't seen Desperate Housewives...which I loved," Eva told Ellen.

And it doesn't look like Jose is desperate to catch up on Eva's Wisteria Lane antics anytime soon. Though, it doesn't look like Eva's holding it against him. If you recall, Eva's Desperate Housewives character, Gabrielle Solis got up to some pretty hot and steamy escapades, particularly in the show's earlier seasons.

"He goes, 'I'm gonna watch. I'm gonna watch. Everybody talks about it. I'm gonna watch.' And he tries to watch and of course I'm like banging the gardener in the first season, and he's like. 'I don't want to watch!' I was like, 'Yeah...yeah, let's jump to season 5. That's when I was like not sleeping with anybody,'" the Telenovela actress added.

We must admit, it's kind of sweet that Jose doesn't want to see his future wife, um, banging the gardener. But as for Eva's rather perceptible stardom? That much is something the tycoon can't exactly avoid. Luckily, he doesn't seem to mind the beauty's renown.

"People come up to me all the time and he just doesn't really get it. He's like, 'They really like you,'" Eva said.

Eva is one lucky lady. Staggering looks aside, it seems everyone really likes the brunette beauty. And with such a bounty of devoted fans, it's no wonder why Jose has begun to discern his fiancée's mega-stardom. Though that doesn't mean her soon-to-be-hubby is yearning for the spotlight. In fact, quite the opposite.

As the actress told NBC's Today Monday, "He's amazing! He's gorgeous and really the kindest human being I've ever met. And he's really private! So, I never talk about him, because he's always like, 'Don't talk about me!'"

You don't need to talk, Eva. But no promises on whether your loyal Longoria fandom will be toning down the chatters.
