UPDATE: LAPD Media Relations confirms to E! News that the stage crasher, whose name is Zicario Nicasio, was arrested by private security at the People's Choice Awards. He was charged with a misdemeanor for interfering with a live event. His court date is scheduled for Jan. 27.
Sharon Osbourne addressed the situation on The Talk Thursday, saying, "Some kid that wants the spotlight and hasn't earned the spotlight ...it's like uh, uh—you chose the wrong group of women. He picked us because he thought we were a slam dunk. Why didn't you do that when one of the guys was up there? That's why if I see him again, I'd kick him again."
Sara Gilbert added, "I want to take this security team [motioning to Sharon and Sheryl Underwood] with me wherever I go. I think our personalities came out in the moment...and you two knew what was happening before he even came to the microphone! I was like I-will-keep-going!"
Can we talk about tonight's stage crasher?!
The ladies of The Talk were more than pumped to accept the award for Favorite Daytime TV Hosting Team at Wednesday night's 2016 People's Choice Awards.
"Wow. Thank you so much! This is amazing," co-host Sara Gilbert shared with the audience. "I think we think of ourselves as kind of the oddballs of TV or we're like a motley crew..."
Before she could finish her thought, a stranger somehow, someway got onstage to make his own statement.
After sharing his name, the rule breaker gave a "shoutout to [rapper] Kevin Gates" before Sharon Osbourne began kicking him in the butt repeatedly with her heels.
