Olivia Munn is calling out journalists: quit playing it "fast and loose."

The 35-year-old Zoolander 2 actress quickly became the focus of a series of think pieces published by notable bylines blaming her for boyfriend Aaron Rodgers' performance on the football field—particularly during the Green Bay Packers' latest three-game losing streak. Munn's baseless off-field effect on the quarterback's athletic abilities recently came under fire, despite the fact the pair began dating over a year ago.

While Munn is no stranger to criticism from members of the general public as a notable Hollywood figure, she was angered to find that reputable media sources were publishing content attributed to the hateful comments of Internet trolls.

"The internet, and especially comment sections, allows people the freedom of anonymity," she wrote in a statement on Twitter aimed at professional news writers.

"And there's that small group of people who use it as an opportunity to spew whatever hatred they want without fearing accountability or repercussions. But, that doesn't mean news organizations- the one that were built by the trust of the public-should give these people's vitriol validity and deem them 'fans.'"

"If ur going to validate a 'fan's' comments about me, please also include if he's a racist," the actress tweeted next in a lengthy social media address of the trending story. She also included a link to the online comments of one critic, who posted hateful and racist remarks on a series of topics.

Next, Munn set out to directly confront one journalist responsible for posting a listicle of reasons for the team's losing streak, including his personal life.

"Playing it fast & loose w/the journalism @RobDemovsky. Your professional skills are lacking... you must be having personal problems at home," she wrote.

After all, was Gisele Bündchen blamed for Deflategate? The answer is no.
