Tamar Braxton is getting stronger day by day.

More than one week after announcing her departure from Dancing With the Stars because of health concerns, the talk-show host is ready to update fans on her condition.

In a surprise appearance on Thursday's episode of The Real, Braxton calls into the show to catch up with her co-hosts. Along the way, the ballroom dancer proves she's on the road to recovery.

"I mean, I'm just so elated. And I just feel so blessed to come out of the hospital," she explained. "Because, you know, the realization is that, you know, a lot of people don't come out of the hospital with, you know, multiple PEs [Pulmonary Embolism] like I had. And you know I just feel really blessed beyond measure."

She continued, "And I'm just so excited that I was one of the few people who got a chance to come out of the hospital, come on!"

Last Wednesday, Braxton shared a photo from her hospital bed as she posed with her Dancing partner Val Chmerkovskiy. She let fans know that she didn't have pneumonia, but instead had several PEs or blood clots in both sides of her lungs.

"As you all know I will be the first to always encourage anyone to push through any obstacle that comes along one's way," the 38-year-old wrote on social media. "But in this case, my health is my current obstacle."

Braxton was ultimately released from the hospital Tuesday afternoon with her husband Vincent Herbert by her side.

As the talk-show host settles in back home, Braxton made it clear that she "cannot wait to come back" to The Real. Until then, she's left with nothing but gratitude for her co-hosts and fans' support.

"Thank you to the fans, to my baby, to my husband, and to my mama," Braxton shared on the show. "I mean, you know, honestly, God is so good, honestly."
