For his next tour, Will Smith confirmed he will definitely be sharing the mic.

After sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres, the daytime talk show host got right to the question on everyone's mind—is more new music definitely in the famous rapper's future? In fact, not only will Smith be officially releasing new jams, he also has plans to perform them for the masses with one very special guest—DJ Jazzy Jeff

"I'm very excited about this, if this is true," DeGeneres said. "You're gonna go on tour again?"

Smith, who released five studio albums with his musical counterpart before taking a hiatus in 1993, confirmed for DeGeneres and her excited crowd—he and Jeff are definitely packing up and hitting the road.

"I'm so excited," she replied. "That's so great."

For Smith, this moment has been years in the making. Though the twosome saw great success rhyming together in the late '80s and early '90s, a little sitcom on NBC prevented them from ever performing as a pair worldwide.

"We never actually had a chance to go out and do a full tour. So, we released our first record in 1986...Girls Ain't Nothing But Trouble was our first record, but by 1990 I was already on The Fresh Prince," the Grammy winner explained. "So, in that time, we just we were getting started and I never actually had a chance to go on tour, so I really want to get out there and do it for real."

As for what kind of new tunes the duo has hiding up their sleeves, the Concussion actor remained coy.

"I keep a stash, Ellen. I keep a stash," he hinted. "I have a couple new things bubbling."

While Smith keeps mum on the topic, we can make some predictions based off the October release of his first rap in over a decade—a featured rhyme on Colombian group Bomba Estéreo's "Fiesta." As well, the "Miami" singer already has 30 additional songs recorded. In regard to timing, Smith recently told Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show the duo will most likely begin the tour in summer 2016.

After DeGeneres congratulated the Golden Globe nominee on his new venture, Smith offered her an informal invitation.

"Well, you got to come. Maybe we'll do one and you bring the audience," he propositioned.

"I would love that," she replied.

If you have any extra tickets, Will, we'll gladly take them off your hands.
