How sweet is this? When a childhood friend of Ed Sheeran's was having trouble paying her mortgage, the singer invited her to contribute to his album. Mirror reports that pal Amy Wadge was able to tend to her financial problems after the duo wrote "Thinking Out Loud" together.

If you've been living under a rock, the song is pretty stinkin' popular, meaning Sheeran really did his pal a favor there. Mirror writes the song has been streamed over half a billion times on Spotify and went platinum a whopping three times.

Have you checked out his YouTube page? The video for their song has well over 700 million views! One million of those views were probably us TBH, so you're welcome you two.

We guess Ms. Wadge won't have to worry about money for a very long time. Where do we get friends like this? Is Ed taking applications for new BFF's, because we can learn how to write songs too, you know!
