Watch This GoPro Fall Into a Pit of Rattlesnakes If You Want Nightmares Forever

These snakes are hell-bent on stealing this guy's camera and it's the worst footage ever

So the first question we'd like to ask this guy is why the hell are you getting so close to a pit of snakes?! Aren't snake pits supposed to only exist as booby traps in movies like Indiana Jones? This is some Crocodile Hunter-level s--t right here! Not only is he close enough to see each individual snake and their creepy, black tongues slithering out, but the snakes are within striking distance of the GoPro. Of course, this inevitably leads to the poor camera's demise in the aforementioned death trap full of nope.

What would you do if your nice GoPro disappeared under a writhing mass of scales, fangs, and nightmares? Well, here's what we would do: forget it. It's history. Dead to us. The snakes have won, and we must admit defeat. To those who think they'd rather try to do something like poke the snakes out of the way with a stick, we say consider the possibility that the snakes might not be so happy with this arrangement, and may express their displeasure in a rather bitey manner.

This dude just casually reaches in and grabs the GoPro like he's not reaching into a big pile of awfulness. This guy got really lucky.

At least the animal characters from our favorite films would never creep us out like these snakes:
