The four-legged 3-year-old self proclaimed "King of Pop Culture" rose to fame transforming into characters while sporting elaborate costumes on all of his social media outlets. In Doug's latest project, he's making a music video appearance all in the name of Fall Out Boy's redone single, "Irresistible," also featuring vocals from Demi Lovato. The catchy tune first hit the airwaves in January as the second track off of the band's sixth studio album, American Beauty/American Psycho.
While the lyrics—"I love the way, I love the way, I love the way you hurt me baby"—rock to the pulsing beat, Doug is stuck in the middle of an identity crisis. Is he a basketball star befitting of an NBA championship? A hard-core drummer with full sleeve tattoos? A Roman gladiator preparing for the fight of his life? How about all three plus many, many more.
After watching Doug play an intense game of hoops outfitted in a zip-up jacket and athletic goggles, the scene changes later to the adorable pug flaunting a fedora, faux-frames, and headphones wrapped around his little neck.
It gets better as we spot even more doggy getups worthy of a Vogue editorial spread, including Doug spiraling through space in a cut up black t-shit and black wig, a red toga secured by a leather belt paired with a gold antler crown, and even being swaddled in a yellow terry-cloth towel.
While we would have loved to see what kind of looks Lovato could have rocked in this visual masterpiece, Doug's endless wardrobe was the perfect eye candy. We're just wondering—what ever will he wear to the Grammy's?
