Today just so happens to be the country stars' 19th wedding anniversary! In honor of this special occasion, Tim, now 48, revisited the very spot in Grand Junction, Colo., where he proposed to Faith, also now 48, on June 26, 1996. In a video posted to Facebook Tuesday, he wished a happy anniversary to his wife, "the best person I will ever know," and recalled the romantic way he asked Faith for her hand in marriage.
"We were in a dressing room, and it was trailer houses then," he said. "It was rainy and stuff and we'd been on tour for a while together. I'd joked around with her about getting married, and so...I looked at her, I grabbed her by the hands before I went onstage...and I said, 'I'm really serious. I want you to marry me.'"

"She laughed," Tim recalled. "She said, 'We're at a country music festival in a trailer house and you're asking me to marry you?' And I said, 'Yeah.'"
After that, Tim hit the stage as expected, but he was the one in for a surprise when he made his way backstage after the show. On a mirror in his dressing room, Faith had written, "Yes, I'm going to be your wife" on Tim's mirror and punctuated it with "a lipstick kiss," he recalled.
All these years and three beautiful daughters later, it's clear these two are as in-love as ever. So what's the secret to a happy marriage? "The main thing is there's going to be ups and downs, and you're not always going to see eye to eye," Tim told E! News earlier this year, telling us he wasn't sure if he was the person person to give marriage advice. "There will be times that you don't like each other. You just have to know you're in it for the long haul and you're committed to it. You just have to look at the big picture and enjoy life together."
