Don't let the ginger hair fool you—Prince Harry is certainly not joining the circus.

While entertaining sick children and their families during a visit at the WellChild Awards Monday night, according to Hello!, the 31-year-old British prince had a giggle of his own when one young girl mistook him for a very familiar character—a clown! Looks like the red-headed royal was doing a good job of keeping everyone laughing.

Nellie-Mai Evans, 9, who was the winner of the Inspirational Young Person Award in the 7-10 age group, hit Prince Harry with a balloon animal as she asked, "Are you a clown? Can you make me a balloon animal please?"

Can't blame little Nellie for knowing what she wants!

Unfortunately, Prince Harry couldn't fully fulfill her request.

"I will try to, but I can't make any promises," Prince William's younger brother replied.

Next, Prince Harry met with Toby Sweeney-Croft, 9, for whom he knelt down on the floor to chat. Sweeney-Croft offered the prince a present—a basketball—knowing that Prince Harry is familiar with playing from a wheelchair.

"It cost me £7!" Sweeney-Croft said when Prince Harry refused to accept the gift.

"You can't tell me how much!" Harry replied. "Well, I would love to, on one condition—that when I am old and in my wheelchair we play and you thrash me." Deal accepted.

Prince Harry later addressed the crowd for a heartwarming message.

"I am humbled by the people and children I meet. You guys are awesome," Prince Harry said in his speech. "The stories we have heard tonight are moving beyond words. They remind us of the utter insignificance of our everyday worries."

"Yet, one of the things that always stands out is the positivity shown by those in the most difficult and testing circumstances. We literally have the bravest children in the U.K. in this room."
