Our thoughts are with Basketball Wives star Tami Roman after the 45-year-old beauty revealed she suffered a miscarriage.
Roman, whose boyfriend is Reggie Youngblood, was 10 weeks pregnant and entering her 11th week when she lost their child.
"I am deeply saddened that after 10.5 weeks, we suffer this loss," Roman said in an exclusive statement to E! News. "We knew this would be an uphill battle. We were up against the odds. I have a prolapsed uterus and am diabetic. I battle bouts of hypoglycemia due to my diabetes and my blood pressure continually ran high. We were prayerful, we had and still have faith. We are not giving up."
Reggie adds, "This is a tough time for us. It is the worst pain I've felt since losing my mother. I want people to understand the sensitivity of this situation. We are hurting and negative comments, don't help."
The reality star previously announced her pregnancy on the after-show for Love and Hip Hop Atlanta. This would have been the first child for the couple.
Roman and Youngblood are currently on this season of Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars alongside Kendra Wilkinson-Baskett and Hank Baskett. The two ladies recently got into a major scuffle that showed the former Girls Next Door star lunging at Roman during a verbal altercation.
Roman has two kids—Lyric and Jazz—with her former husband, NBA star Kenny Anderson. Most recently, she shared an Instagram post about making changes in her life. "Bottom line, if you don't like the things you see, change them. I'm not different, just better. I'm no Saintm, but I'm trying to do better. I love this concept...you don't throw away your dirty clothes, you wash them and wear again. That's me, I'm cleaning house and starting again. Thank God for those opportunites."
Wishing Roman and Youngblood all the best.
